Just read a Politico article that screamed desperation in every line. They admitted that Biden hasn't been able to make the case for himself. But they breathlessly anticipate Obama bursting onto the scene and saving the day. While articulating what Joe has failed to articulate, Obama will also win over young voters and Sanders's supporters.

Here's the takeaway. Even Politico admits Biden is a gigantic dud of a candidate. And they are way too invested in Obama as a miracle worker who can salvage what has become a disaster in the making.

But it really is desperation. The Roman columns and the echo-reverb they put on the speakers was a one off. Women aren't going to faint when Obama gets up to read the teleprompter. And no matter what Obama says, old Joe will still be the candidate--and his cognitive decline is getting harder to hide.

Imagine having a candidate so bad, so weak, that the only hope lies in using a proxy. It's not a winning strategy. It's Democrats working out the equation and imagining that the middle step really does consist of, 'Then the miracle occurs.'

Yes--and it's only going to get worse.

True. They are between a rock and a hard place of their own making.

Agree. At least, that's my impression. Either Obama picked a VP he looks down on or over their eight year association, Obama came to dislike Joe.

Agree. The majority of candidates Obama endorses lose.
