Yep. Normally conservatives are at work and don't have time to protest. Now the liberal shitheel governer forces conservatives to join the lazy libs in sitting at home all day. We conservatives will not stand by and watch as these lazy fucks try to shove their socialism down our throats by removing our rights as American citizens.

I support any act of defiance of local governors who resist opening up on may 1. the economy is worth more than fretting about vaccines and graph curves. sorry. without an economy we have no country. without our rights, we have no country. rights do not suspend because of a pandemic

Come on my fellow Virginians! Let's protest!

People exercising their god given rights are “far right”

thupertheriousth 26 points ago +26 / -0

I hope things like this spread. I'm surprised assbook didn't remove the group though.

Proud_American 7 points ago +10 / -3

It’s not organic. I don’t expect any copy cats.

20
Proud_American 20 points ago +24 / -4

Why is every conservative group pre-labeled as far-right?

Anyway, this seems to have an ulterior motive. Yes, they’re ‘associated’ with Trump supporters, but their agenda is “informing voters, recruiting precinct delegates and shaping policy by supporting and electing conservatives in Lansing.”

If this goes badly, they will attach Trump and Trump supporters to it.

As long as they aren’t presenting themselves as Trump supporters when they are actually conservative activists, I have no problem with them making some noise.

Why? Are the two mutually exclusive? This sort of hiding because the people who already say bad and incorrect things about us might say bad and incorrect things about us is why we're in the situation we're in now. Thinking like this would have led to the scheduled delivery of tea in Boston instead of the Boston Tea Party.

Rugar22 2 points ago +2 / -0

They are afraid of extreme nationalists like me who want to protect exactly what our founding fathers wanted.

2
Proud_American 2 points ago +2 / -0

Is your last name rugar or was ruger already taken?

2
Rugar22 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes it's Rugar, the spelling for my family used to be Ruger back in the 1800s. So I'm pretty sure I have connections way back with the gun company.

2
Proud_American 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thought that might be the case. Very cool.

2
Rugar22 2 points ago +2 / -0

Liberals would be scared if I ever ran for office lol.

I don't think the government should be able to tell you to stay in your home as stupid as going outside may be it is my right to make stupid decisions.

if some people want to drive around the capitol building more power to them.

jamesois -5 points ago +1 / -6

I'm mad as hell about it but I'm also OK with gubment forcing me and everyone else to wear seat belts (for example). So mostly I'm confused about how I feel.

7
Gilliais 7 points ago +7 / -0

Except for children, seatbelt use could have been moved forward by consequences from insurance companies instead of laws: if you’re in a wreck and unbelted, less payout. And you can’t sue the other driver for the consequences of your own careless lack of a seatbelt.

Florida no longer requires motorcycle helmets, but still has seatbelt laws. Makes no sense, except it give the police a reason to stop you.

“It is disappointing that these folks are choosing to violate the executive order,” Schor said." “Most people want to stay safe and are staying home as they should, so this effort to illegally block city streets in Lansing is much less of a problem now then it would be otherwise.”

Comrade Schor, may I remind you of the Bill of Rights: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Trump didn't declare Martial Law because he knew idiot governors would reveal themselves to be the enemy of the people. Trump could have fixed all this weeks and weeks ago. Now people are pissed and ready to engage at the local and state level. Well played, as always, well played.

Let's see, so far she ordered stores not to sell seeds or plants for growing your own gardens; all stores must do lines outside like Walmart and limit to 25% occupancy; ordered gun stores and shooting ranges closed; ordered golf courses closed; banned travel to a second residence, even if you are the only person who ever enters that home; and banned the use of any boat with a motor on it (but explicitly said sailboats and canoes are ok). Doubled the fine to $1000.

Hospitals on the west side are doing layoffs from lack of patients.

On a scale of one to mad, how upset are Michiganders

This sounds a lot like my million motorhome protest for the District of Criminals. One little switch to turn off the fuel pump and we could disable DC for weeks. Never underestimate the power of old people to gum up the works when necessary. Us old people get disoriented easily and go the wrong way down streets, block entrances and exits and generally cause mayhem wherever we go.

1
Rugar22 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just please don't go the wrong way.....

1
paul_rick 1 point ago +1 / -0

Actually, that's the whole point. Senile old farts, don't you know. If nothing in DC can move, we have accomplished our mission.

1
Rugar22 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just police blockade the road that would be much safer.

Good to see some youngins in there, too. I usually see them with blue or pink hair, terribly dressed, filthy in appearance, and trying to grab Bernie's microphone.

Well we aren’t working, so maybe we should take to the streets

When "working class" is not working. They will come in millions.

It's like I have said before, Antifa fucks with Trump supporters, becuase Antifa members have nothing to lose. No jobs,no families. TRUMP supporters have family and jobs.

If the Plainfield is even Trump supporters will be way more dangerous than Antifa

BrewSwillis 3 points ago +3 / -0

Holy crap. I was just thinking, yesterday, about trying to get an in-car protest going. I guess great minds think alike!

2
deal_with_it_ 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wonder how many dupes the governor has lined up to chug some fishtank cleaner so they can blame the traffic for first responders' inability to come and deliver aide.

2
FuckThoseBatEaters2 2 points ago +2 / -0

If this happens in California I'll be there!

Why

1
BrewSwillis 1 point ago +1 / -0

I saw, essentially, this same article written on other sites that didn't have the word "far" in front of "right-wing groups". And with this article claiming that the in car "gathering" would be "illegal".

-4
nakedjay -4 points ago +1 / -5

So, we would be no better than BLM and blocking roads? Fuck that. We are better than that.

RU_joe_king 1 point ago +2 / -1

What do you suggest, Einstein?

This is freaking stupid. It makes us look like the crazy lefties. Block traffic on people just trying to go about their day. I'm just tryin to get some groceries and TP for my family and I cant get the the freakin grocery store because of you idiots.

cream_y 2 points ago +3 / -1

How the FUCK do you still need TP? Christ I got so irrationally angry at the store yesterday. This shits still hard to find - WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL BUYING IT IN EXCESS? My wife and I grocery shopped for the first time yesterday for anything other than fresh produce and deli meat since 3/8. We just have that much food, water and supplies in the house. Who actually needs to go out and get paper products and food weekly? What the fuck is wrong with you.

1
Richard0930 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who the fuck are you to dictate to me when I can and can't go out or my preparedness level. What kind of authoritarian asshole are you to think you have any right whatsoever?? Tell you what, you stand in front of my car. I'll run your stupid protesting ass down just as fast as I would a lefty.

1
cream_y 1 point ago +1 / -0

Youre dumb if you are stocking up on TP and call yourself prepared rofl. Fucking moron. Also, my gripe was about people buying dumb shit, not the protest. IDK where I said i'd be there or participating lol. Your reading comprehension must be on par with your preparedness!
