I think you're right. They could so angry with being accused of autogynphelia, though like I said, I found that interpretation liberating.

I really worry -- well, I wonder what would have happened to me if I was dealing with these issues like -- I mean, I had the impulses back when I was a teenager. I'd go to the college library and read about them. My High School wasn't cheerleading how wonderful it would be to get a sex change back then. Now they are. I worry what would have happened if I was a teen today.
