Pray for this state 'Pedes. With the insane travel restrictions, no few of which are unenforcable, the destruction of our economy and the knowing (and I don't know of another way to say this) potential murders of our citizenry we are truly screwed.

Probably thought he could be exposed to covid. That poor mother. If the son picked her up and drove her home, you would think he could walk his mother inside and get her situated. What the heck is wrong with people?
Gretch the wretch could be a next door neighbor. We can't eliminate that possibility but I'm with you. After sharing a car an all the covid exposure was probably all over it already. Hope they work out okay though. You don't know just how you are going to react to endangering situations until they are here. You can always reserve the right to beat yourself up about it later.
Or you can do the right thing if you recognize it as the right thing at the time.
I would have walked my mom to the door. Irrespective (pun intended) of social distancing.
