Pray for this state 'Pedes. With the insane travel restrictions, no few of which are unenforcable, the destruction of our economy and the knowing (and I don't know of another way to say this) potential murders of our citizenry we are truly screwed.

Her administration threatened to potentially permanently revoke the medical license of any doctor that prescribed HCQ for the kung flu.
It wasn't long afterwards and they were practically begging the feds for the stuff.

That makes no sense, at all. Literally, it's simply illogical.
Why on Earth would a governor prohibit doctors from prescribing a drug? Independent of whether the drug is effective, side effects, whatever - that's for doctors to decide, they are the ones specialized to evaluate the situation.
Even assuming pure motives here, what could the rationale possibly be? - that doctors would all lose their minds and suddenly contradict what they do in any other situation, just to prescribe dangerous drugs, so the governor has to step in because she knows better?
Does anybody have any logical explanation for this action?
Can't get over this, it's shocking.
We trust doctors to prescribe all sorts of highly dangerous stuff: narcotics, opiates, chemotherapy, radiation, addictive drugs, etc. We trust them to use their judgement and training, we give them free rein for all of those -- EXCEPT HCQ.
In the case of HCQ, the governor actually steps in and tells the doctors they don't know what they're doing, they have to be threatened and coerced because they can't be trusted. It's just wild.
