If you don't pay Yelp monthly, they only let bad reviews show. Yelp is a racket.
That, and they have "random" people leave bad reviews. They called offering me to pay to curate reviews and remove false reviews manually. When I refused, I recieved 6 reviews from out-of-towners in 9 days - my business usually sees 2 reviews a month, is extremely far from any tourist locations or points of travel, and isn't exactly somewhere you can even shop at with intent to bring back with you.
Sounds like a situation for a Project Veritas clone. That's extortion, but I think you'd have to prove you were harmed by the bad reviews. I don't pay any attention to Yelp because I just assumed the owner and employees wrote in, posing as customers, and positively reviewed the place.
