But somehow they can prevent me from receiving the Body, even on Easter Sunday. What happened to America? We used to believe in liberty.

I appreciate your faith and devotion but don’t think not receiving communion during a pandemic will keep you out of Heaven. God is merciful and just

It's not about it keeping me out of Heaven, life and isolation are forcing me to fight some demons right now and I could use the extra strength and protection that comes from receiving the sacrament.

But more importantly, this is America, who the hell are they to tell me if and how I can practice my faith? That was kinda the whole point that got this place started.

I understand the importance of the sacrament and am not downplaying it. I am also happy to hear it gives you strength. However I am concerned that ignoring and risking harm to the “least of our brethren” is not very Christ-like. They can place limits on our faith if it endangers others, hence the stay-at-home orders. While I’d much prefer to be at Church, I can worship on my own—the Church is in us. It’s not a building.

I must have missed that part of the first amendment. Does the second amendment not apply since people can get hurt by guns?

Also, I have been locked away by myself for a month, it won't be me getting anyone sick. If someone is at risk of harming their health, they shouldn't go to mass, but what gives the government the right to risk harming my mental and spiritual health by denying my constitutionally protected right to receive the sacrament?

What's it to you? Why does what I believe matter so much to you to elicit such an emotional reaction? I will pray for you that one day you can be more at peace with yourself and be more open minded and tolerant of others and their beliefs.
