There's a possibility this right here IS the second wave. It's looking like the original outbreak goes back to November, and many people are reporting experiencing multi weak long sicknesses with wuflu-like symptoms.
The original models had full social distancing (shutdown) included, as have every revision.

I can respect that, but the fact still remains that the IHME models have been wrong from the get-go and shutdowns being effective aren't why.

WTF are you talking about? The Imperial College which all these models came from had social distancing built-in to the worse case scenario!
