All of the original models were just wrong. That said, the President's response was wise because the Chicoms may have unleashed a bioweapon, either intentionally or through negligence, on the world. This gave us time to react appropriately. Trump saved many lives by promoting hydroxychloroquine over Fauci's objection. Social distancing also insured that our hospitals would not be overwhelmed at the peak of the curve. Now it's time to start opening back up. The President's team needs to first assure the public that we have effective drug therapies to treat the virus by disclosing all of the HDQ clinical trial data.
