But the curve has already flattened. Effective treatments have already been approved. The death projections have already been revised down multiple times. So why is the noose tightening even more and the return to normal being postponed repeatedly?
People leaving their homes have nothing to do with you being able to get back to your daily life. That's collectivist thinking creeping in. They want you to blame the hypothetical people refusing to obey their diktats so you don't stop and think clearly about who's actually got the authority to make it stop.
What authoritarian has ever given up authority in response to perfect obedience?
