These are the original 4/1 numbers. There were no numbers from 1 month ago. I got this data from the healthdata.org website in the first day or two after Trump mentioned it in the press conference. It's disappointing that people would just make up excuses/self-deceptions instead of just incorporating the facts into their arguments.
Believe what you want. The facts will not change. But my perception of the "Left" and the "Right" certainly has. I saw the same behavior from the Left when I presented the record numbers from the Trump economy.
Are you telling me literally no one was projecting the number of cases on 3/1? Are you a full-on retard or did your mom just drink when she was pregnant?
They take down all the old projection and put up new ones all the time. They've been doing this for months now. Where do you think the 500k estimated deaths came from months ago? Then Birx saying we'd see 200k deaths "if we do everything right"? It's all the awful IHME model, and it's been off by massive amounts each time.
I only gathered the information from the website after Birx/Trump first mentioned the 100-200K number around 4/1. The model has been accurate since Trump/Birx/Fauci touted it. If you have evidence of its inaccuracy before 4/1, please present the data. The hospitalization model was completely wrong. That does not mean the death model was the same (as evidenced by the actual results).
Agreed - this site is reminding me of r/politics more every day.
The absolute rejection of facts which don’t fit their narrative is disappointing to see coming from supposed right-wingers. And what happened to having faith in Trump?
Both the Right and the Left have been saying the models are fake to further their own narrative. The fact that Trump has been able to herd these cats and drive the numbers down to below the original median estimates is a testament to his leadership skills.

Some reading on how terrible the model has been:
