Ever played a game of poker or any other card game with friends for little or no money? So when one guy just outsmarts the rest and somebody else gets angry because they’re losing and proceeds to slap his chips all over the place? That’s the globalist and we’re the real winners. Idk, despite what Trump once said, I’m not tired of winning yet, and we’re on the verge of something unprecedented, I can taste it.
What seems to have happened is the globalists weaponized a flu virus against Trump not realizing that what they were actually doing was weaponizing a flu virus against their own despicable ideology.
I started buying only European and American-made products whenever possible a few years ago and it's worth the extra effort and money. Hell, it's actually cheaper if you buy better quality products that don't have to be replaced every few years!
Every company should be shamed into putting the country of origin for each product on their website. They can get around this with fake labeling but at least it would put some pressure on them.
With the case of electronics it really gets complex. Sometimes you'll get inside the Made in Wherever product and find chips made in the US, China, Korea etc. The great capacitor plague of about 10 years ago or so was because of stolen Japanese designs being made for cheap in China. Even now "Japanese made" is still a selling point for capacitors.
Absolutely it's difficult. However, I know from my own line of work that traceability of components and raw materials is possible. Maybe a negative certification system for consumer products would work rather than a positive one: Prove that your products are made outside of China or you can't put the sticker on your product.
We're talking consumer goods here where there is a lot more room for fuckery.
AFIK labelling in US has no proper federal mandate, unless it's food and even there are just guidelines from FDA, and it's down each state to come up with rules and regulation.
2020’s are the New 1950’s. Welcome Back America! See ya in a couple weeks and we’ll make this country great again, hell, we’ll do it for the 2nd time within 4 years, that’s the American way!
so i've been scouring amazon to find the place where items are made, amazon makes it tough. been googling things too to try to find 'made in usa xx' items.
are there any tips or sites people know of to help us find made in usa stuff?
Really wanted to buy some American made bakeware from the site but honestly, $79 for ONE basic sized cookie sheets is incredibly high. I wish we could find American made that also isnt insanely high in prices. Even found some basic tshirts but where $70-90 each. :(
Assume almost everything bought on Amazon is made in China. I was looking for a power cord the other day. Spent an hour online trying to find something made outside of China (not even in the USA necessarily) and gave up because I couldn’t find anything.
Diamond Gusset Jeans. Shine Vinegar. Speed Queen washer and dryer (they last forever...don't buy digital controls...old school manual controls only). Match me!
Buy American whenever you can, and just as importantly, buy it locally whenever you can. I'm not saying to give up on Home Depot or CVS or whatever, but if there's something you can get from the local hardware or pharmacy, get it there. Help keep those folks in business. I needed a putty knife and a couple small wire brushes for a project earlier this week, and I bought them from the local hardware, which has been serving this community since the 1890s. Buy American, buy local!
Did that and stopped spending money at Dick's now too. I'll go in there and get the exact tag number of what I want and buy it online. Dick's Sporting Goods used to be my favorite store. I'd spend like $1800 a year on clothing and new shoes there and now I spend $0 there forever. Whenever I travel overseas I make it a point to tell people Nike is a "dead brand" in America now.
I've lived in Asia for years but I always make an effort to buy American. Usually this is not possible, but I at least avoid anything made in China, and that includes American companies manufacturing in China. Don't care if it costs double.
Anyone know if CRTK (US company), makes any of their knives in the US? I'm not a knife guy, but realized the one flipper I have is made in China and I want to fix that.
Local farm and tractor supply stores are good alternatives for big box stores... you know the kind that has aisles of little bins for every size bolt , nut, cotter pin imaginable.. plus your kiddos will dig the baby chicks they sell there
I returned a product last week for the reason of, “Product is made in China”. Will continue to do so on everything I buy with Prime until products on the website are labeled with country of origin.
Globalists see this and recoil. America First entails everything they despise and have spent decades undermining.

I will pay more for a "Made in the USA" product.

If only it were that simple. What about Apple products “made in USA” but all components made in China?
It should be specified in the product specifications "Assembled in USA using components made in USA and China".
Ideally, if the company does not inform the consumer of a product's origin on their website it should be considered made in China and disregarded.

There are apple products that say "made in USA" ?
My european iPhone on its back has written, Designed in California, assembled in China.
I wouldn't know. I use Samsung which are made in Vietnam, which is still much better than made in china.
I was speaking generally what we would like to see in the future.
No more "Made in China"
The Donald should create a master list of Made in USA brands to support.
Here's some that I personally like:

Bags and Backpacks: https://www.dsptch.com/

I agree, would love to see that.
And thank you for this list! Awesome!
And those NOT to buy from.
One congress critter not to buy from, Justin Amash I -MI . His family tool business builds their tools in China. When the tariffs started is when he changed from Repub to independent. He was selling them as Made in America until he got caught. Amash is invested in the company’s “Made-in America” marketing campaign because it had become a campaign issue in 2010 at which time he publicly maintained the lie.
Those triple aught jackets are sexy as shit

Washer and driyer.

Need more accurate labeling to do effectively. All kinds of loopholes on labeling.
Should be a law enforcing country of origin on all online product listings. I think we can all get behind that. How do we get that to GEOTUS?

I suspect a lot more stuff is like this also.

An even better reason not to shop on Amazon AKA China-Mart.

Lets make it more positive then that. We make the best shit in the world, AND often set the standard.
Thank you for the sticky, Mods!
Happy Easter, God Bless you and God Bless America!

All the local stores are now Ace Hardware. Is that still actually local?
I'm pretty sure that Ace stores are local franchise owners. Same with Pro Hardware.
Ask amazon to add “made in USA” filter
THAT IS OUR BREAD COMRADE
That's why (and how) tariffs work. Quality American made product = $5, Cheap ChiCom piece of potmetal shit + 40% tariff = $6.
I'm tired of Chinese made crap.
I BFL, so Made in the USA, or Germany is usually where my products are made.
Yep, worth the effort to find something old school at antique shops or flea market. If the tool/product survived fifty years it’s good for another
Start from the ground up and stop buying Nike products, please.

Shut down commie supply chains
Make American goods again!
Anyone know if CRTK (US company), makes any of their knives in the US? I'm not a knife guy, but realized the one flipper I have is made in China and I want to fix that.
Never heard of them, but nice stuff at reasonable prices. Thanks!
Larry Kudlow says government should reimburse the cost of relocation for American businesses from China! I support this.
Where can I buy this t-shirt!?
Just started doing this more often. Was about to buy a ridge minimalist wallet....
Went with a dango instead. Can't wait to get it.
I also need sunglasses. will try the link in this thread.
Local farm and tractor supply stores are good alternatives for big box stores... you know the kind that has aisles of little bins for every size bolt , nut, cotter pin imaginable.. plus your kiddos will dig the baby chicks they sell there
Let's go #TeamUSA #TeamAmerica
China is asshoe!
MAKE AMERICAN MADE GREAT AGAIN!
Not a penny of TrumpBucks should go to foreigners. All American!
Trying my best. Slowly but surely.
It’s time to make things in America again!
I returned a product last week for the reason of, “Product is made in China”. Will continue to do so on everything I buy with Prime until products on the website are labeled with country of origin.
I asked this before but... What about American assembled like some companies are doing?
