The death rate being so high was a MASSIVE FUCK UP.

You have to understand, we were only testing those with severe symptoms in the beginning. So yea, obviously the death rate is going to seem higher than it is. As soon as we started ramping up testing, we went down to like .4%. And even that is still higher than what it actually is because of all the asymptomatic people not being tested

Think about it, if we only tested for the flu on the people who go to the hospital for it, the death rate would be way higher
