Unfortunately, in NY that means you have to be in the ICU before you can get it.

This is true. My friend in upstate NY is in his 40s and has had a fever since last Saturday and a COVID-19 diagnosis confirmed on Wednesday. His doctors refuse to prescribe HCQ-AZ. First they told him that they, "weren't sold on it yet" and then told him, "no one's going to write a prescription for it".

This shit makes me so mad. He told me he'd be willing to try anything at this point. Does he not have the right to try?
