Social Democracy is the equivalent of marrying the stripper. Seems like a lot of fun until you start looking at the ramifications and long term problems

That's the big problem. Socialism on paper, you would be insane not to. Socialism is practice is the problem and that's what's so hard to get across.

It's all paid by taxes and if the service declines as lobbyists help themselves to more tax money while offering less with no opt out it would be a multigenerational effort to unseat that corruption. The problem isn't so much that corrupt people are not taken down, corrupt people are taken down all the time, but usually through the efforts of other people who play the same game whom want to help themselves to that cashflow rather than to fix the problem.

What a braindead argument. Socialism is socialism regardless of the means with which it is installed.

After Bernie quit the race, his one of campaign staff was glad she could stop sayin “democratic” socialism. They are going full blown commie from now on

Regular socialism: violent revolutionaries seize the government then ruin everything for everyone but themselves

Democratic socialism: people vote socialists into power that ruin everything for everyone but themselves
