Its pretty bad in the ghetto hospitals but alot of people are being sent home only to die a day or two later in their house. FDNY pulling 5-10 a shift out in some spots. Suburban hospitals are seeing way above normal deaths but its not apocalyptic with bodies laying around all over the place. Its real, its pretty bad, but they are managing. Its actually very quiet aside from that. When u go by a hospital you see all the tents and temp structures set up and way more EMS than usual but except for on those hospital wards, it certainly doesn't feel like a warzone. You are going to find when this is all over that aside from the very elderly of whom ive known a few (85+, friends grandparents etc,) this was a disaster for low income neighborhoods where people just did not listen early on and tend to have poorer baseline health.
