Yep, I keep convincing more people of this every day. The"increase" in cases that we saw was just a result of an exponential increase in testing. Once testing leveled off, cases began to drop. We were already on the declining part of the curve, but our governments will tell us that it was the lock downs that saved us

Before this hysteria really took off, I lamented that the worst part of this was going to be the adoration in hindsight. So lucky to have survived, what did you do to combat covid on the front lines, our hero the grocery clerk, etc.

This isn’t a generation’s Pearl Harbor or 9/11. That’s cheapening those events. This is a serious illness that had much more serious reaction that made everything worse. Like throwing water on a grease fire in a panic.

It is pretty sick to call this a generations ww2, etc. You mean to tell me there was a generation that had to stay home from school for three months prior to summer break? OMG the humanity lol. I think we probably all wanted this growing up. To be fair it has been hard on some students but to compare it to 9/11 is fucking ridiculous.

Cuomo is going to end up a hero in hindsight as well regardless of the fact that he was warned this could happen and did nothing at all to prevent it.
