This is why I laugh and then don't donate when Wikipedia asks for money. Last time they asked I donated to the WatchMaga YouTube channel.

Surprised that there's nothing about the latest revelations that the dossier was in fact derived from a Russian intelligence asset.

Dems: “ hey Alexi, want to make $50k by writing a make-believe story about hookers peeing on a bed?”

Alexi: “ok!”

They consider that to be part of the interference

there's a reason why teachers tell students they cant reference wikipedia in their reports... it's a blog

5
Keiichi81 5 points ago +5 / -0

I don't think they actually say that anymore, sadly.

Was a blog. That could be edited by everyone back in the day. But Now that the Leftist mob has a thorough lock on all the moderator positions, it is communist propaganda on every entry except for the ones about very 'hard' science subjects like chemistry.

The Don Jr. wikipedia is chock full of propaganda as well. Pretty much a completely bullshit website.

I'm trying to remember now, what is the only thing that has been proven out of the whole hoax? Was it only the $5k in Facebook ads to sow division?

I think it may have been 50k, which is still a drop in the bucket.

There has always been interference, just not the way the lefties propose or try to sell everyone on. We've had a lot of interference from other countries as well. Putin said the worst thing that happened in the 20th century was the fall of the soviet union. Russia hates that we are the big kid on the block and they aren't, that should be enough to realize they want us to fall.

On anything political, it’s a fake encyclopedia.

Just to be precise: the newly declassified footnotes from the Horowitz report indicate the Steel Dossier believed by FBI to contain Russian Disinformation (and used it anyway for FISA warrants). Additionally, the Republicans who KNOW like Devin Nunes continue to assert that Russia interfered.

As best as we can tell from the outside, their interference was to sow discord not to harm Hillary or boost Trump specifically.

What interference?

I've been hearing this Russian nonsense since day one, without evidence.

Is it linked to the Russian government? What are they even doing? Does it have any impact at all?

All we hear is that some people in Russia bought some ads. So what. Do you care if people from foreign countries by ads? I don't. Bloomberg bought more ads than anyone has in history, and practically every advertisement moment on TV or on YouTube was just him. Did it push him anywhere meaningful?

The only people sewing discord are CNN, NBC, etc... If not for them constantly spreading this nonsense, no one would even be aware of the nonsense any Russian might be putting out there. It's the local dying media which has more of a reach than a couple thousand ads on random websites.

It’s great that we can’t trust anything the FBI says ever again.

Here’s a link. We don’t get to see any evidence. To me it’s more likely that this is the DNC and Hillary’s camp doing the hacks to rig elections with magically efficient and targeted vote harvesting.

"the hacks didn't result in any voter data being manipulated or election results compromised"

If they're not changing the vote, and nothing they're doing actually prevents someone from voting, then from an election standpoint who cares?

Sure we don't want foreign governments or organizations stealing our data, but I don't see how this has any connection to any election. This topic here is an issue of data security, which unfortunately is garbage, and we need to beef up all around.

AngryCitizen -1 points ago +1 / -2

Who cares?

Let’s see - if you know the party registration then you know which mail in ballots to discard.

If you know the party registration then you know whose house to go “ballot harvest”.

Etc Etc

2
TheMoreYouKnowOkay 2 points ago +2 / -0

And how does knowing how people are registered help people in a foreign country sway an election?

The issue wouldn't be that registration data. The issue would be having plants working in the post office or in the ballot counting office.

You’re just trying to be stupid, right?

I mean, you’re like the Busiest Beaver of Missing the Point.

I take it back if you’re under 25. Otherwise, it’s meant as an insult.

TheMoreYouKnowOkay 1 point ago +1 / -0

I see you keep focusing on the wrong point.

We need data security. Our data should not be accessible remotely, certainly not easily hackable.

We need spies out of our institutions. We also need to quit this bribery system the government is currently built on.

We also need a proper voting system. Mail in ballots and all that in itself is insane. If you're abroad, then go to a US military base, embassy, or consulate to vote. Voting by mail should not be a thing.

However nothing you stated shows that Russia is actually interfering in any elections. That's a fantasy in search of actual evidence. You seem to be focusing on auxiliary points that have nothing to do with any actual election. Get back to me with proof showing how they changed some votes or prevented some votes from occurring.

The Russians did interfere.

They interfered with at the behest of the DNC and Obama Administration to try and damage Trump anyway they could.

1
Keiichi81 1 point ago +1 / -0

with the goal of harming the campaign of Hillary Clinton, boosting the candidacy of Donald Trump

Wasn't it proven that what little actual "interference" there was both promoted and attacked all major candidates, with the only goal of sowing division and confusion? Surprise surprise, leftist-controlled Wikipedia is pushing the idea that it was exclusively to harm Clinton and boost Trump. Notice they don't have a citation on that particular claim either...

Gosh_darn_hotdog 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hillary won the popular vote. How exactly did Russia harm her campaign?

Also, can someone PLEASE show me a screenshot of a confirmed Russian troll posting on social media? Where are these banner ads and YouTube comments?
