Disagree with you wholly. American is a state of mind. Freedom loving. Just because we have been sold out to INSANE levels of legal immigration doesnt make it good. It's nearly just as bad. We had a culture in this country. It was good, wholesome, honest. We had reasonable expectations of how people should act in public. "The melting pot." That's ALL gone now because of legal immigration (and disgusting hollywood). I think we should be working backwards. I think for the last 30 years we have been taken over by corporate slavers who dont have our best interest at heart. Maybe we should investigate what they did. Maybe start reversing it. Stop all immigration for 30 years. Educate the people we have.

I agree with most of that, but this is just plain wrong:

"American is a state of mind."

Is Japanese a state of mind? Is Cherokee a state of mind? No, America is a people; a nation of people living within the empire of the United States. A people who's land and progeny have been sold into debt by leaders with divergent loyalties.

Well, uh, I would say "people" and "state of mind" are the same thing in this case and exactly what he was trying to say.

Well, uh, I would say "people" and a "state of mind" are very clearly different things, and that the onus is on him or you to explain why. Your opinion requires accepting the globalist premise.
