I did. Probably 6 years ago. Not missing a thing. No twitter, instagram, reddit or other mass social media either, except thedonald.

I HATE it. I only recently logged in because family stuff. FUCK FACEBOOK. I hate it. I hated it from the start and always thought it was ridiculous that

"I just landed at the airport" "I just bought a new car" "I just took a big shit"

Who fucking caress about every little detail of your life.

Apparently a lot of people because Facebook.

Ditched it as soon as I found out that the CIA had a twin program called Lifelog that they shut down the day Facebook launched.

Havent missed it at all. Juat like cable TV...havent missed it either.

I’ve never seen credible evidence that this is true.

Not that facebook isn’t great for the triple letter agencies anyway.

Like 10 years ago. Facebook is for old people Gramps.

This. If you need it to "keep in touch with friends", hate to break it to you, but you have no friends.

As @ThrupleBlindStudy mentions, facebook distorts people's perception of reality.

sustainable_saltmine 12 points ago +12 / -0

at least 2 years ago. Only held on that long cause a few friends had it and wife's family. Last straw was when SJWs would start going around doxxing people for saying things like "David Hogg is a charlatan". I don't trust Facebook at all to keep my info secret. Even if you lock down your private info like your town or employer in your profile, someone could still see it if you commented on a site that used the Facebook comment plugin, and failing that can connect the dots of where you work or live based on your connections.

I did in December 2016. You realize how many of your friends are actually your friends if they have your phone number

grassshrimp 8 points ago +8 / -0

My wife and I never used it. Took time, but finally convinced our children to get off. Grandchildren never used it. Life is good.

Facebook is the best medium for dispensing red pills 💊

AutumnCrystal7777777 4 points ago +4 / -0

There is that. It's the only thing I do there when I check in to see my work schedule every couple of weeks. Tired, dull platform though.

Juanye 7 points ago +7 / -0

If you still have Instagram, you still are on Facebook

1
LinconChurchill 1 point ago +1 / -0

Absolutely. If you still have instagram you are still on Facebook. Also, if you still use WhatsApp, you are still on Facebook.

7
hilboggins 7 points ago +7 / -0

Ditched it for good in 2016.. I didn't want to burn too many bridges with family. It was fun when it was just my college friends on there.. but haven't talked to any of them since old people joined anyway.

BETSY516 7 points ago +8 / -1

I cant even remember when. The last time I used it was 5 years ago but that was to close it.. I cant remember how many years I basically never logged in

Patriot_Pat 6 points ago +6 / -0

I keep mine on for extended family news, but never post. I'm likely on for an hour or two a month.

I did a long time ago but came back to it since the Shut down. I will turn it off again after everything is up and running

I deleted mine last week. As much as I despise FB, I deleted it because social media brings out the worst in people.

It's the only one I used.

I use it for work.. :/

I closed it and twitter two years ago. I downloaded all my photos and photos I’d been tagged in and self-host family photos on Plex now, and I exported the birthdays calendar into my Outlook so I’d remember birthdays. Now my friends just know to text me if they need me....it really wasn’t a big deal once I did it, but i thought I was hamstringing my social life before I did it.

And for bonus points, I deleted my Reddit account when they nuked T_D.

Only social media I have now is Gab and Minds.

Feels good, man.

Lol_Garrus 3 points ago +3 / -0

I deleted it back in 2012. Been happier and more productive since.

Its been 8 years since i last has a Facebook account, but for the grace pf God walks I

3
axrevolutionai 3 points ago +4 / -1

I never used it to be honest. My parents were never on it. I have no siblings. I have no friends.

I have a single profile with only 3 friends that is super locked down so my wife can have me listed as her husband.

I use that super locked down profile for Facebook marketplace and nothing else. My wife only uses it to post an occasional update for her relatives and even her friend count is under 20.

Now insta is another story, I have a feed full of women who are more attractive than anyone in Hollywood, hundreds of super cute dogs and cats, and spicy Trump memes. If you're not on insta you're missing out. You don't need to put up your real name, it doesn't pester you to add friends, and it's easy to make completely private

I'm really surprised Facebook runs insta because it's a different story entirely. Half naked women, big fat red pills, things Facebook would take down immediately

If one were in charge of Whatsapp, it would be stupid not connecting the underlying databases for mining information.

Tucker goes over Facebook pretty well in his book, Ship of Fools. Some evil shit. I have been trying to gently lead my family away from it for some years.

I changed my name, deleted my friends and groups and my fakebook account after a week of gloating over the results of November 6, 2016.

whats facebook bro?

2
NOTWOKE 2 points ago +2 / -0

FAKEBOOK. Recognized it early. I had opened an account first year. Deleted within a couple months. It's a facade. A direct line into the family for tracking and propoganda.

killerbeblue 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got rid of Facebook back in like 2014. Only social media I used was Reddit until we got fucked.

Now it’s just .win.

I signed up for it once to synch an account and get some thing in a game for free (would have cost 15 bucks otherwise.) Though I used fake information, somehow the damn thing kept suggesting "friends" that were people I ACTUALLY KNEW. Took me fucking MONTHS to actually cancel and delete that account, including written letters, phone calls, all sorts of shit. Never looked back. Years later, I am still proud of getting free.

My last post was 2014. I wasn't even redpilled, I just hated it.

1
TrumpOrTreason 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not me! Still redpillin on FB! And bringing in noobs to WIN

1
51cab 1 point ago +1 / -0

I did a couple months ago. Used it primarily for distant family and kids' school stuff. Moved a year ago and new school didn't put everything on fb, so that was a win. Realized my distant family and friends didn't ever respond to anything I sent or check in with me. Counted out that every 4th post was now an ad. Made the decision around the same time I was getting my wrongthink warnings from reddit to drop it. Feels fantastic.

How many were smart enough to NEVER create a Facebook page or even visit Facebook?

How many blocked every Facebook IP at their router, and installed face blockers on every browser in their network when Facebook first came out? (Raises hand)....

1

It does get better. Facebook gone as 2016.

Also using uBlock Origin with Firefox to block social media trackers.
