That is the real problem. The FDA should be confined to its original mission, Food and Drugs, not analytical tests. The FDA got in the way, and had to have a fire lit under it, while private business could move much more quickly.

The US is full of sophisticated analytical labs and companies that can act more quickly than the FDA, if they are allowed to do so.
