It's only delayed.....like until the federal unemployment boost and Payroll Loans run out then he'll use the minimum wage law as the final nail to kill small business.
Yeah, from December to May a year from now...or never...It's not just small businesses that hate that $15 an hour+--NO employer wants those. Medical Universities in VA have fought very hard to farm out maintenance, food, cafeteria and every possible job to contractors like Aramark, who pretty much pay minimum with few benefits--so they can shrug and say, It's not us, it's the contractor." Wages are an expense; and it's one that employers can control, especially in a right-to-work state like VA. The big boys will lean on him to keep those wages low, IMO.
