No wonder she's called Half-Whitmer.

Some things predispose one to a poor outcome with this disease. For example, many American Indians are overweight and diabetic. A disproportionate number of Chinese men smoke, etc.

These are personal and cultural lifestyle choices separate from any real or imagined prejudice.
