I can spot pretty easily by the way they write/speak and odd stuff people might not notice, or think it was a spelling error (not that I go on Reddit to look anymore for any reason) Lots of words they add extra “U“ like “behaviour“, and ALSO in a TON of words, look for using an “S“ instead of a “Z“, like “realise“ (Brit) vs. “realize“ (US). All those words are not simply spelled wrong, that is how they spell it there. Or not so common, but it is noticeable, but some words have “mme“, like “programme“.
Also, they could be from any foreign country besides UK - like France, Germany, Iran, anywhere where English was not their first language) in the first place, and just learned to speak & write English the way they do in the UK, vs. US. I think it is totally expected in fact, when taught English, for most foreign countries to teach foreigners to spell the British way, not like we do in US.
