He needs to stop going on fucking cnn and focus on his job. The fact that he keeps going on all these fake news channels tells me that he is a fucking liar.

A total liar plus an egomaniac. He wants Brad Pitt to play him in the movie.

I'm going to give him a small benefit of the doubt. He thinks his years of public service, expertise in the field, and lofty position mean he'll be treated objectively by the press. After all, during the BHO years he was under the protective umbrella of (D) glow.

He never realized working for Trump would mean he had to be destroyed.

Well I see it a little differently. To me Fauci has come across as holding Trump in contempt while thriving on the favorable press his weaselly, subtle jibes at Trump have garnered him. It sounds to me as if Fauci got a wake up call today and realized that Trump is not the buffoon the leftist press makes him out to be.

I can't really discount either theory as I can't read the guys mind (and honestly I've not watched that much of his commentary outside of briefings - which I usually watch).

I am 100% certain that DJT is an expert at "managing experts." The expert class, high IQ, highly educated, is used to a significant amount of deference. Many carry real ego vulnerabilities and that is where Trump truly manages them.

I may not have the analogy right, but I see him as the drunken master model. Appearing one way outside, but a deliberate technique.

So in some ways I agree your view, but merely acknowledge I'm guessing about Fauci's internal state of mind.

Trump had a lot to say about Fauci in today's press conference.
