"Hey, we're at 1/10 of where they said they would be with best case models... and in some places 1/100th..." and then suggest we just turn the sign from "closed" to "open" with the caveat that we all continue to wash hands, monitor our health, and self isolate if we have any known primary contact... people respond like I'm out there trying to actively kill people.
I know here and on the old t_d people issued wake up calls all the time... but this is crazy. I know so many rational people who are clinging to models that are so far off... but yet they insist... "we must isolate more and make more masks... you're not with us so therefore you're bad."
I'm seeing less and less of it, send more and more people calling them out. I just wish these people would admit they screwed up and stop falling for every new panic scam.
I'll go a step-fuether. Open it up, go back to life as before. Not interested in changing my behavior permanently. Not into being manipulated by fear.. so they can all pass off.
