I understand where you are coming from and its a valid concern. Thank you for sharing.
I simply believe We are living in grave times and I don't take this lightly. This is the largest incursion of the bill of rights in the history of this nation - hands down. The constitution has been revoked, quite literally. The economy is being purposely (I believe) destroyed unnecessarily for political reasons. This is a HUGE historic deal, that can't be understated, and we are at the threshold of major change.
Unfortunately, if this goes on much longer, violence is inevitable. I'm not happy about it but this is where we find ourselves in my opinion. I'd prefer if it was nonviolent but this is not always the case in such dire circumstances. This can NOT be tolerated. Period. We are throwing away our god given rights many generations DIED for to protect. Their sacrifice will not be in vain because of a nasty flu and manufactured economic crisis.
I'm going to say regardless of the virus mid-may people are going to go out no matter what the state says. The people en mass will defy this. Because they're already starting to realize this is no way to live. Some of us would rather die on our feet than live on our knees.
The gov response at that time will dictate what plays out. As far as the happening going, I'd say this -right now is closer than we've ever been for that happening. The next few weeks will dictate the future. If we had anyone but trump, if they tried to treat us like Italy is -I'm convince we'd be seeing open violent defiance.
This governor is a tyrant. Militias (of which Michigan has one of the largest) exist to deal with this EXACT scenario - tyrants.
I believe a particular "tree" Jefferson was talking about needs "watering"... if you catch my drift.
