The antibody test says if you have recovered from the virus because your body is now producing antibodies. This is necessary to figure out how far the virus has really spread (answer: further than they think) and it's going to prove this wasn't that deadly

The test that determines if we're infected with Wuflu is different; the test for antibodies may not actually tell us if we're virus-free. If we're not we could get a relapse plus infect others. That would suck big league. I don't know that there's one test that can check both, or how accurate the test for the virus is anyway. The early tests would fail to detect the virus over half the time, nobody's said anything about the accuracy of the newer tests we've been using since then. I'm suspicious ...
I would think the antibody test is at least pretty accurate for testing the presence of a specific antibody, but does it really only register positive if we've had Wuflu? Might our bodies generate the same antibodies in response to something else?
This is a key reason Trump switched to the 'arrival-departure' briefings at the helicopter. Since it's not "A Press Conference", the only camera is controlled by the Adminstration. And the vid-sluts like Acosta can't grandstand on screen.
