The problem with replacing human guards with robot guards is it greatly diminishes restraint used in destroying them. If North Korean snipers shot human guards, it would be game fucking on. However, South Korea isn't going to start shit over North Korea smashing up their $12M robo-sentry.
It's why Iran felt ballsy enough to shoot down the Globalhawk but wouldn't have shot down a U2.
