This is fucking insane. Thank God my youngest just got accepted to college in the great state of Texas so I can leave this communist utopia soon. I’m so over this crap. The unfortunate thing is that CA is actually like 40% conservative. But Sacramento, Hollywood and Silicon Valley control the state.

Everyone in the know has figured out its just a kind of flu. But politicians want to take credit for saving lives so the fraud of lockdown continues.

2 "The ability to prevent infection in people who are at risk for more severe COVID-19.

Are older Californians and the medically vulnerable living in their own homes supported [so they can continue appropriate physical distancing? Have we developed a plan to quickly identify and contain outbreaks in facilities housing older Californians, those living with disabilities, those currently incarcerated, and those with co-morbidities?"

Prevent infection? This is essentially justifying house arrest. But notice the last clause..."incarcerated"...gotta be able to spring people from prison at will...keep society in chaos and fear.

3 "The ability of the hospital and health systems to handle surges.

Do we have adequate bed capacity, staff and supplies such as ventilators and masks? Can our healthcare system adequately address COVID19 and other critical healthcare need?"

As determined by who? The experts who were totally wrong over the past month? And why the grab-bag clause "and other critical healthcare need" at the very end? What else gets lumped in after this? They will now slip in their prior compendium of lib health pet projects.

4 "The ability to develop therapeutics to meet the demand.

Have we built a coalition of private, public, and academic partners to accelerate the development of therapeutics? Have we identified potential therapeutics that have shown promise?"

This ability has ALWAYS existed its called free enterprise and capitalism. Notice how they insert themselves here. Can't make nuthin without the state on your "team"

5 "The ability for businesses, schools, and child care facilities to support physical distancing.

Have we worked with businesses to support physical distancing practices and introduced guidelines to provide health checks when employees or the general public enter the premises?"

Can't go to work or child go to school unless you can pass their "health check" at the door. Your ability to make a living and educate is now in control of the union state employee at a desk with a clipboard and thermometer. Own a business? The general public can't enter unless you do what we say.

6 "The ability to determine when to reinstitute certain measures, such as the stay-at-home orders, if necessary. Are we tracking the right data to provide us an early warning system?

Do we have the ability to quickly communicate the need to reinstate these measures?"

This last one is a whopper. Basically we can do this forever, no vote needed- and we can add more intrusive tracking as we see fit. For eternity. Stay at home ORDERS comrade....

At this point there can be no doubt CA and any state that adopts this is purposefully keeping their economy hostage. These 6 conditions will never be met fully, and remember they had none of it for the seasonal flu which for CA was many X more deadly. Breathtaking power grab and establishes governor as dictator over all things... No vote required by reps or the peasants. Seems sort of like oh Perhaps "traitor" is the word? Emperor Palpatine? And he keeps calling CA a "natiom state"....delusional psycho.

1 "The ability to monitor and protect our communities through testing, contact tracing, isolating, and supporting those who are positive or exposed."

Do we have the ability to identify contacts of those who are positive to reduce further transmission? Do we have the ability to test everyone who is symptomatic?"

CA is looking here for a "infectious virus nirvana" they had a functioning economy with generally accepted risks such as the seasonal flu - without this ability. So due to 800ish deaths you're going to destroy virtually every business in the state? Unless its essential...of course gotta have the ability to hand pick winners and losers like any commie dictatorship. And what "ability" is good enough for the dictator? Of course...ankle monitors for everyone would work best. If you refuse to install the new apple/google app on your phone and carry it with you at all times just like the "papers" in Nazi germany.
