Article mentions objections to voter ID due to an alleged "absence of impersonation" with voting...given that there's somehow a Democrat as governor of typically red KY, I would seriously question that. Also seems like anyone who opposed that voter ID bill is likely an actual racist and hates poor people. Also someone should tell Beshear we live in a republic, not a democracy. I hope KY has buyers remorse after voting for this guy.

This is one of the dumbest arguments for not passing a law.

What does that mean?

A] How would you know how many people voted falsely if they were not caught

B] Basing a law, or in this case, setting a standard requirement, shouldn't be based on how many cases of voter fraud were found.

Hardly any underage kids try to buy booze or smokes; can we do away with the "if you look under 25, have your ID ready" crap too?

That's a good example I didn't think of.

Kentucky traditionally has Democrat governors. Louisville and Lexington are full of libs who override the rest of the state by sheer volume.

It also didn't help that the KY GOP ran a guy who was really unpopular.
