More colleges writing themselves off the list of places my kids will attend. They are making this EASY to narrow down. I hope the rest of the fake schools continue to pony up like these two institutions of lower learning.
At one time, Ivy League schools might have been prestigious. Now they are just ridiculous. I would think twice before hiring someone from these liberal cesspools.
To be fair, the engineering classes are pretty good. But the humanities classes are where the troubles begin. Having went to Berkeley, I can say this for a fact. You'd be surprised how many closeted libertarians and conservatives you'd find in the engineering department !
Problem is the humanities has this way of seeping in to other facets of the college...like a virus. Humanities being a qualitative (feels) discipline and STEM being quantitative (reals) will tend to seperate those two seemingly different mindsets.
Basically, a fat woman feels beautiful, but the scale says she's 250 lbs. Fine. But she'll be down at the college's Office of Diveristy shrieking and belching about how sexist, racist, transphobic the engineering department is.

There's nothing intellectual about these leftist professors. If they are worried about what they say being subjected to ridicule or criticism, they have no business teaching it in a classroom.
They are just upset about having their indoctrination exposed.
if you have to hide what youre doing from critical scrutiny, maybe you should reevaluate what youre doing.
Furthermore, if recording a class is considered to be "inviting ridicule" then the class must by definition be ridiculous.
