The only requirement when buying a Glock is ditching those God awful stock sights. Go to SevignyPerformance and grab a pair of his competition sights, made by one of the best shooters the world has ever seen.
Paul Harrell recommends a glock for beginners because it's simple, reliable and has high capacity. Here's his entire video where he discusses the pros and cons for a lot of things. It might help you make a decision.
use gunbroker.com and have that "on sale/auction" gun sent to your local gun store for FFL backround check. You'll save $100-$200 doing it that way. use ammoseek.com to buy ammo. Its a search engine for every known site selling ammo so you'll get the cheapest offer on top of the list.
HK. I prefer their hammer fired LEM trigger so I can ride the hammer going into the holster. Had it on all of mine (P30Sk, P30, HK45c) until the horrible boating accident.
That said, HK, Glock, Sig, and Walther are all reliable handguns that work every time. Try one if you can before buying. LEM triggers are not for everyone, some prefer striker over hammer, etc. Find one that fits in your hand comfortably where you can easily reach the controls and reliably pull the bang switch with your booger hook.
My only regret is letting the IRS have my direct deposit information. Now I've lost the opportunity to have a copy of a check made out to me and signed by President Trump.
A BIG problem is many Governors (democrats) have closed their states businesses, and only allowed ones they approve of to open. So the small businesses that remain closed who are supposed to be the ones that benefit from this won't see any of it. The governors keeping their states closed are picking winners and losers.

I only buy EVGA GPU's. Never had any issues with them, and great CS. Same with their PSUs.

I'm guessing because I owed a little this last year that I had to provide my info, since they obviously didn't direct deposit a refund.
