-When we open up, and its too early because “rebound curve”, we all need to wear ppe and social distance, so .4% dont die again.
-we need to test everybody, and presumably those who have had it, and didnt know, will be able to go back to work first. So you all have to get it to go back to work?
-we need to open daycare and k-12 first, so people can go back to work. But Most of the states have closed schools for year, unlikely they can reverse that...
-we will only be safe when vaccine 18 months from now. Yet, we just shut down the country for a virus that ended up killing less than the typical seasonal flu virus...which will happen again in less than 12 months...
-etc. none of this makes any sense.
Anyone else’s head ready to explode? I think we need to end this nonsense now. I dont think even Republicans realized the danger in going down this road. I think both parties saw this as an opportunity, with no attributable downside to either of them, and trump was caught in a catch 22. He had to go along with it and make the best of it, try and minimize the effects.
A significant portion of the population, is happy collecting checks for doing nothing, and are rooting for a longer shutdown. I think thats by design. They are doling out extra money to people who have not been financially affected, seniors, people currently unemployed, even people who have been collecting a paycheck all through this. These types are very happy to say “oh well, what can you do?”.
What the hell just happened? Never mind who is to blame (china), what the real reason is (mail in voting, collapse economy, more attacks on freedom, etc), why are we allowing this?

I got a good analogy. I like to ride mountain bikes, a lot. It can be dangerous. So, what i do is put on a helmet, some pads, and i go out and take my chances. Sure an alternative would be that, you close the trails altogether. Alternatively, you could line the trail with mattresses, wrap all the trees with mattresses, even wrap all the other riders in mattresses, and you would certainly minimize chances of injury, but thats not very practical. So its pretty simple, if you want to mountain bike, you should be responsible for protecting yourself as you see fit, based on your own risk tolerance.
With this wuflu nonsense, what they are doing is saying is in order to prevent a 75 y.o. Obese diabetic with asthma from getting injured on a mountain bike, We need to lock everybody in their home. Nevermind that if you are at risk, YOU should stay at home. Or put on the appropriate ppe if you HAVE to go out, and can’t get somebody to do it for you.
This is only as dangerous to a very small segment of the population as any illness is, yet they have people hysterical that i see people wearing masks while driving alone in their car. The testing is already showing that potentially 30-50% of the population has already had it. They will spin that as “great, you are healthy, good for you, you are a patriot”.

Im one of those people. I haven’t had income in a month, no unemployment, and wont be getting anything from the govt. I just want to get back to work and ill be fine, but another month of this and i dont know. Im not even sure if i can get the materials I need to do my work.
Trump tried. I believe he really believed it was a hoax, as do I. But what was he supposed to do with the media trying to destroy him? That was part of the plan. If he loses the presidency to the democrats, this country is done. It might be done anyway. Trump was doing a phenomenal job prior to this.
