No, I just wanted to provide a real world example in which case a trip normally perceived by stereotypes (Rhode Island being super close to Massachusetts) to be very short and neighboring can actually be pretty far. Michigan has Ontario between it and NY. (Minimum ~175 miles)
Maryland has Pennsylvania (or NJ & DE) between it and NY. (Minimum ~125 miles)
