I swore Windows 10 would be my last MS OS because of the surveillance tech built into it. On my administrator account I had to add even more permissions to disable a background windows 10 update service that was secretly pinging MS servers. We have a name for that, it's called malware.
Swap to Linux. Control your computer. It's getting better support everyday.
Download a free distribution and burn it to a USB stick and try it. Linux Mint or UbuntuMATE (and many others) are easy for noobys. You can do a live boot directly from the USB stick and not disturb your other OS (presumably Windoze) . (Sorry back to TD.W)

You can also use something like VirtualBox to try out as many operating systems as you want before installing one on the host system.
