The fact that you know where Boonville is makes me happy. I had a buddy when I was in the Army from there. One of the craziest SOBs I ever met. Went there on a weekend pass and got the drunkest I had ever been with his redneck friends. Great people, very welcoming to us.

Funny that you would call them rednecks. I'm from upstate and anything out of the trough from the city to Albany...are NY Hicks. I am one of them damn it.

It was purely said out of respect. And yes, the preferred term is hicks. I grew up in Oswego county so I am allowed to apply either term, it is in the rules.
