Yeah this is the main reason that I think it was intentional. The thing holding me back from thinking it wasn’t is that it seems really really stupid to unleash this on your own country. The only possible reason I can think of for this is that they really DGAF about their people and this was a really easy way to give them plausible deniability. But at the same time it is still going to fuck then in the long run. I can imagine any country is going to be doing them any favors anytime soon at minimum. Not to mention many countries may start to pull back/out of China completely. Just thinking out loud. Some of it just doesn’t make sense.
I think the virus was unleashed due to negligence.
Once unleashed, I believe China did everything in their power to save face and avoid culpability. Part of that was in creating a smokescreen using the compliant and fully bribed W.H.O. and anticipating that the virus popping up in other countries would allow them to sow chaos in other countries and buy them time for misdirection (“the US military brought it to Wuhan,” etc).
I’m with you in that it definitely came from the lab. I’m on the fence about whether it was intentional or not.

Blocking all flights from Wuhan to the rest of China while preserving all international flights from Wuhan to the rest of the world.
It doesn’t get more intentional than that.
