Yes, I understand the dipshits' excuses. But, I have a counter to that: sales tax?...so do all legal tourists who come to the States on vacation. Sales taxes are literally pocket change compared to income taxes, property taxes, FICA, health insurance, and so forth, which illegals don't pay. Yet they get to use our hospitals, schools, highways and infrastructure, etc., which puts wear & tear on these physical assets.

Tourists, on the other hand, are a net benefit because their presence is accounted for; they don't overwhelm the welfare system, ERs, and WIC program; they spend money (in addition to the sales tax they generate); and finally, they go home. Illegals live very frugally, buy junkers and drive without insurance (and cause accidents that they can't pay for), and then send all their income back home as remittances. This is millions not being spent in the US, so where is the sales tax benefit??
