He then posted an email exchange which shows a Los Angeles County Department of Health Services official thanking Tesla for receiving the ventilators.

“Hey Phillip, do you know if these ventilators went into use?” asks Tesla’s Omead Afshar.

“They worked great during testing today,” responded Phillip Franks, who is Director of System Operations and Support Services at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. “We will put these to use tomorrow. Thanks!” he adds.

When you're a propaganda organ, you don't need to turn a profit to "stay in business".

They make most of their money from their international outlets from what I recall. CNN is shoved down Europeans' throats, much like the BBC is.

As usual Musk is right. CNN loses millions of dollars every year and somehow keeps broadcasting. Their ad revenue is not even half of the money they need to keep their propaganda on line.

So where does their operating budget come from?

freewilltrump 9 points ago +9 / -0

CNN gets a cut of every cable subscription that includes CNN. This is where the majority of their money comes from, not advertising.

You won’t ever bankrupt CNN unless you can convince cable companies to stop putting them in their packages.

Great, how do we begin

You cancel your cable packages and only keep the internet portion. Get a pirate android box because FUCK hollyweird.

IllKissYourBoobies 3 points ago +3 / -0

Or just fuck TV 'programming' altogether.

HowardRoark 1 point ago +1 / -0

Already done. I haven't had cable in over a decade and I get my movies from Bittorrent.

You probably can’t, but by relentlessly calling out their bullshit, we can turn kill their reputation and turn them into a TMZ like channel. All about that PR baby. And you know they’ll counter by relying on their historical relevance.

You're right, we need some GEOTUS-level branding. Like "Failing New York Times" or "Crooked Hillary".

Xi-NN is pretty good.

Which is why they're terrified that the upcoming generation doesn't even use cable. If it's not on Netflix, Hulu, or Youtube, they couldn't care less about it. People don't want weekly episodes anymore. People don't want commericals and having to wait until their program is on anymore. They want to turn on their tv, pick the show they want to watch, and have all of it available right then. Traditional media is dying, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it be forced into a major restructure or be completely dead in next 30 years.

The activists that own my favorite superheroes :(

Cnn is a loss leader for whomever owns it that allows for all kinds of tax avoidance. Amazon functions in much the same way, but more directly.

If youre ever interested in owning your business, skip over s corps, partnerships and 'self employed' and go right into c-corps or LLCs. There are SO many loopholes in real-world common practice expenses to depreciate or outright deduct in total that you could realistically incorporate your household and never pay taxes again.

The shit is crazy

"whomever owns them" That would be AT&T. A lot of managers there have been betting their careers on selling out America for a long time, and a bunch of them are at the new branch warnermedia now. Lol, they just took out a 5.5 billion dollar loan too. It is all just a big frigging mess that changes direction with the wind slightly as they try to be an entertainment company instead of providing good service, which should be all you need to know about that.

Already have done that. It's great asset protection IF you in incorporate in the right state. Business friend states only.

As much as I agree with you on the fraud that was Obama. He came to be President because of lies. Elon Musk however is openly straight with his origins.
