As usual Musk is right. CNN loses millions of dollars every year and somehow keeps broadcasting. Their ad revenue is not even half of the money they need to keep their propaganda on line.

So where does their operating budget come from?

The activists that own my favorite superheroes :(

Cnn is a loss leader for whomever owns it that allows for all kinds of tax avoidance. Amazon functions in much the same way, but more directly.

If youre ever interested in owning your business, skip over s corps, partnerships and 'self employed' and go right into c-corps or LLCs. There are SO many loopholes in real-world common practice expenses to depreciate or outright deduct in total that you could realistically incorporate your household and never pay taxes again.

The shit is crazy

"whomever owns them" That would be AT&T. A lot of managers there have been betting their careers on selling out America for a long time, and a bunch of them are at the new branch warnermedia now. Lol, they just took out a 5.5 billion dollar loan too. It is all just a big frigging mess that changes direction with the wind slightly as they try to be an entertainment company instead of providing good service, which should be all you need to know about that.
