"But requiring I get tested would do undue pressure on me, because I have to take 7 different busses to get to the hospital, and it takes 12 hours, but I have to work, and I only make 7.25 an hour at a job with no paid time off, so I can't skip work or pay for day care for my 11 children, and I don't have a phone or internet to get directions on how to get there, and I don't know how to figure it out either."
Holy shit this is reddit in a nutshell. Outside of personal finance subs and a few others, they act like EVERYONE is broke as shit their entire life and it's all because of 'the system' or whatever.
So turn it on them. This is racist because people of color will be in the back of the line while whites people get the tests, so white people will go get all those jobs while people of color have to wait and miss out.
The part that's pissing me off is that the Democrats are doing the same thing they always do. They're only seeing the world from their big-city apartment window and can't even fathom what life is like in rural areas. I get it, New York City is the epicenter, shut everything down, do what you need to do. I however live in a rural area that has only 20 cases, and has had only 20 cases for the past two weeks. Almost every person in my town is wearing masks and gloves and all of the businesses are going the extra 10 miles to sanitize and socially distance. So tell me, why, in my small town, does the Walmart close at 6:00? Prior to this it was a 24x7 Walmart and you could walk in there at 11 or 12 at night and be one of a handful of people. Now, everybody is forced to pack in during the same short period of time. There are small businesses, mom and pop diners and such that cater almost exclusively to regulars, yet they are forced to shut down probably to never open again. Nobody comes here for tourism, we have one hotel, there's no public transportation, we don't need to live by the same standards as someone in New York City.
Well, in person voting could be restricted to people with testing certs, and of course we have a different coloured wristband for say citizens, non citizens, citizen minors and non citizen minors, that'd help with the in person voter ID issue.
I remember some other party in the late 1930s that required you to "Ihre Papiere bitte" to walk around.
We are one of the few countries that doesn't have voter id. We need it. Its no more racist than a drivers license.
Dems are always saying we should look at other countries' "better" universal healthcare systems and emulate them. Why doesn't that apply for voter ID?
Paper, please!
So in order to enter the polling station you will need to show proof of vaccination. Raaaaaaaciiiiiiiiiissssss!
"Aha, show me your racist papers, you racist!"
That's because they don't want to catch the coof, but they do want to cheat in elections.
Just use their own arguments against them.

Easy peasy

I’m sure the undocumented remain privileged in this case?
How about we require ID to get tested, and then require test to vote?

I like how you think!
