If the Left took control, they WOULD cut off the truckers or the distributors, suppliers, or the farmers themselves - some vital link in the chain (or all of them) from farmer to the families - and say it is necessary to do, for your own good, (or just say too bad, you were stupid enough to believe our BS and vote us in, you wanted Socialism suckers ... now suffer) at which point, this country would starve to death very quickly.
