Not a horrendous book, but I read a lot of sci-fi so unrealistic future worlds are what I'm looking for.
When you quote a book you are usually understood to be suggesting that the book is worthy of being quoted. This piece of trash compilation of words has nothing to offer in terms of literature. It’s obscene lefty fear porn that makes them believe that all their extremism and hatred of the right is justified because they’re actually fighting this dystopian religious tyranny. The book does not reflect reality. Quotes expressing the exact same sentiment can be drawn from far worthier sources. This book deserves to be utterly irrelevant.
Off the top of my head? de Tocqueville, Plato, Aristotle, Edmund Burke, Max Weber, Eric Voegelin for philosophy. For literature, Arthur Koestler, obviously Orwell, Milan Kundera, Whittaker Chamber, William Golding, Graham Greene and Solzhenitsyn with great emphasis on Tocqueville

Worst Show to watch, the women that watch that show all have the same thing in common, they have no self esteem and yearn for a world where they can break free of a man dominated world. This show is easy pickings to identify closet feminists.

For future consideration, look into Predictive Programming. The quote you referenced accurately predicts todays current situation. Hollywood uses TV to subconciously implant thoughts into your mind so when news break the masses wont freak out and go crazy.
Here is a small idea of how Predictive Programming is used for good. Family Guy does a good job, so does South Park, on the good side. But many Hollywood Movies are using their shows/movies to quietly push negative futures to the masses.
What is currently happening is an attack on our constitutional rights. It is under different circumstances, but still the same fight. Too many people are actually at home not paying attention. Our very livelihoods are at stake and people are blindly buying into the media hysteria. Letting politicians take away the very things that make America great. I will not stand by and let that happen. You shouldn’t either. Let’s take a stand and do what’s necessary to defend our constitution.
