I think the idea here that our President has/had, was that radio is more direct than TV or streaming, much like Rush commented about the Times article written on this subject. I agree, that after his presidency, he should be on Rush’s show regularly, but at the same time, if Mr. Trump feels that the American people would be better served by him as President giving talks on the radio live, then I think maybe it’s worth a shot. Mr. Trump has such a good friendship with Rush that the reason he scrapped the idea is that he didn’t want to compete with Rush. Once Rush found out, Rush rushed to the conclusion of allowing/auditioning Trump to be on the radio show. They both have such class.
Opinion: You don’t often hear the MSM recording and twisting what people say on the radio, and it isn’t as easy to be manipulated. It’s not a “manipulated-clickbait” type of platform, unlike video platforms where it is common.
Sometime around 2002-2004 (I know because I remember where I was working), he called in and talked about China and how they manipulate currency and how we let them. I was blown away and said to my dad that Trump should run for President and he laughed.
I've stopped listening to Hannity during this 'crisis' because it gets repetitive, same with most conservative voices. Rush, however, is on point and sees through the bullshit. Limbaugh is the Goddamn Man!
