I put on my skeptic hat when it comes to Bill Gates. I feel like there's nothing new here that people weren't talking about in the 90s. The idea of either the vaccines or the chipping doesn't surprise me.

Honestly, I think the guy's just a nerd/pawn in this scheme with too much time and money and a messianic complex who never had a shred of charisma in his body. He's going to come out of this with whatever reputation he had destroyed. You know what they say about pride and the fall. There are plenty in our world like him, some with more or less power. I honestly believe there's way too much pushback for this to gain any reasonable ground.

I've pondered the meaning of revelations over the years. And some time ago, started pondering if it wasn't an absolute expiration date, but a cycle. There are so many times in history that people were convinced the world was ending. World War 2 was clearly along those lines.

I found this book: https://www.amazon.com/Fourth-Turning-American-Prophecy/dp/B00005UPTV/

Ancient people, regardless of culture or religion, were very aware of a cyclical/seasonal nature of history, due to differences in priorities among the generations. Some generations prioritize peace, others war, others stability, etc. It's mainly based on the experiences they have growing up, and the experiences of their parents, as well as the priorities of their parents. So clear was this to ancient peoples that the ancient romans would hold a massive party every 100 years. (This is where we get the concept of a "century".)

The beast's number, for the sake of interest, is most often attributed to Emperor Nero, who was notorious for making life hell for Christians: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_the_Beast

I would also argue that the world (as it was known by its current batch of humans) has arguably "ended" many times over the centuries, and has come out greatly changed.

Let me just say it plainly: If there's a "Nero" of our time, It's Obama. Fiddling while his country burns, demanding worship from his subjects, etc. And he's certainly got the Charisma thing down pat, considering the number of SJWs who continue to invoke his name like it's some kind of magic spell.

Nobody invokes the "unholy name of Bill Gates" unless they're jokingly making him into a DnD monster. The kind of people who worship Obama have loved to hate this guy for decades, and it is for that reason that Google and Apple (among many other smaller startups) have purposely crowded Windows Phones out of the mobile market. It has always been "cool" to hate Microsoft, even after the guy was no longer in charge, and it's been that way since DOS.

There may be an antichrist, but nobody's worshipping Bill Gates. I will say my view of him has been destroyed ten times over in the past week, but he strikes me more as a pawn than a kingpin.

The beast in Revelations is not a person. It is a global government, likened to Rome, but different. (Rome was described in terms of iron, while the beast system is described as iron mixed with clay...one system made of several separate satellites.)

John, who transcribed Revelations, was most certainly referencing Nero. Except that Nero was looong dead when John wrote it down. What he meant, of vourse, is that the antichrist will be LIKE Nero in spirit. Meaning the system will make sport out of torturing and slaying Christians. Decapitation by sword is mentioned a few times. There does happen to be a culture alive today which prefers this execution method.
