No one really has guns or at least talks about having guns. Maybe if you had a farm or something. You'd probably be seen as a bit eccentric if you got one.
Had an Australian professor last semester for my Australian Lit class. Incredibly nice guy (as all you guys I’ve met have been) but he brought up guns a couple different times and when he talked about American “gun culture” it’s like he was trying to describe a totally different world that was foreign to him. Couldn’t seem to grasp why anyone would ever “want” one

Sounds about right. It is literally foreign to us haha, even I feel like it would be kinda dangerous to own one
I think the government "stores" your guns for you down there. You know, for the children.
