Washington was never part of a political party and Jefferson was Democratic-Republican, so only 2/4 were Republicans

If you were a business owner and you were thinking of sinking your entire net worth into it, what state would you go to? One that closes business at the drop of a hat, or one that uses logic and reasoning and keeps commerce open?

That's the bottom line and I think the prevailing reason states will be opening up fast once a few states open, in order to prevent businesses and taxes from leaving their state.

SD is drastically different from the States that are affected by this. Look at a County map. They have some minor hotspots in their cities, but that's it.

In NY, some rural counties have 1000 cases. I don't think any County in SD has nearly that many, and nearly all have 0-10. Of course the same is true of many other States that do have dumbass stay at home orders.

Iowa, for example, has 1154 current cases.

So basically SD can go straight to Phase 3.

Like Idaho.

But we won't because our governor is a RINO.

:) Lots of the Country could, for that matter. Maybe not a large portion of the population or gdp, but a huge geographical portion of the Country is like that. As long as it's broken down by County rather than State-wide.

Although the way the guidelines are written, I think everybody's supposed to go through hoops at each phase? I think SD is ignoring these phases. The AZ Governor put a stay at home order in place just to make others happy, but he declared all businesses essential and compliance is voluntary. Based!

Lots of States are fine except for small cities, which have only a moderate problem. We'll see what our R Governors are made of.

America needs to open back up. Cities will obviously need to be more cautious than rural areas, and people with preexisting conditions will need to be extra precautious as well. Front the briefing yesterday, that seems to be what Doctor Birx and Doctor Fauci are recommending. Reopen American as safely as possible! 🇺🇸

What about all the people that have recovered, and are virus-free and immune? They are risk free no matter where they are. What about all the Counties that have less than 10 total cases? They could've opened up April 1. In Iowa for example, that's 50 Counties. Only 9 have more than 10 cases total. (Spez: a different source, a newspaper, reports this entirely differently. They show 26 Counties as having more than 10 total cases, many of which have less than 25. They show WI with 50+ Counties with 10 or fewer total cases. 27 Counties with more than that. Even IL has 61 Counties with 10 or fewer)

And almost half of Iowa's total cases have recovered.

All Republican policies and ideas make perfect sense when you realize it's focused on taking care of adults.

All Democrat policies and ideas make perfect sense when you realize it's focused on taking care of adult-children.
