I am absolutely pro right to bear arms, but from professional risk management POV, 12 per 100k or 120 per million is not small number. Keep arms, but murderers gotta be put away or executed - hard.
How many of those were by legal gun owners who would actually adhere to gun legislation. I don't know for sure but I don't imagine to many GDs are NRA members. More legislation on law abiding citizens accomplishes nothing.
