They are the number one retailer in America, and there is no way to do this now. You have to find a product, and then do web searching to determine where its made. It seems fair. Made in USA would be great, but frank I just don't want to support China. I tweeted Bezos and Amazon with my weak sauce twitter account, would love to see this get trending.

If you're into computers, Corsair has great stuff and is made in Taiwan

Would be nice if Facebook/etc. ads showed the county of origin that funded the ad.

I’ve been returning every product I buy with the reason, “Was not made aware that this is made in China”.

edit: I should mention that these are existing orders coming in. I’m not buying shit with the intention of returning it. I’ll be asking the buyer if it’s made in China from now on.

If you read the ASKED questions on a product, someone usually asks that question and someone answers it if they know. I always read the questions if they exist. FYI

That or the reviews.

I got an amazon survey earlier this month asking me to rate the shopping experience from 1-10 and why. I gave them a 1/10 and commented that it was way too difficult to determine where products are made when searching, and that I don't wish to purchase anything made in China. There are dozens of filter options already. Adding one for country of origin should be easy.

There's absolutely no excuse for not having a "Country Of Origin" field to sort by.

Amazon is flooded with cheap Chinese shit.

Yeah, I don't see this happening.

Yeah, I don't either TBH, unless we could actually get a movement started. The democrats love China even more now for fucking up America with a plague, the country they hate is their own..

I'm building a Chrome extension for this actually. Should be done by fall. (Full plate atm)

At least getting them to show pictures of the box things come in would usually let you know country of origin. Sad that they will let you donate to organizations but can't let us know where product is made. But hey most of the time it's obvious in the name.

Most of this information is available on the product information section on the more common products. But making it more obvious and consistent would be nice

A lot of products don't have it at all... It's fucking really annoying. I mean whats wrong with us choosing a more expensive product that is not made in china. Amazon only makes more money.

All products made in China are required to be labeled as such on the packaging. Source: I am an Amazon seller.

Too bad you don’t find out where it’s from until the product is paid for and delivered. We need the country of origin listed on the website itself.
